Better than part store axles or internet axles! These are original Toyota or Lexus axles that have been completely remanufactured by CVJ using the best aftermarket parts available. You get factory original Toyota/Lexus steel and design where it counts at a much better price than new factory Toyota/Lexus with CVJ reliability. More info below.

CORE DEPOSIT
The deposit or additional fee for the axle that is refunded when you return your acceptable used OEM axle (the core).

  • Only the same factory original equipment Toyota/Lexus used axle can be accepted (NO AFTERMARKET AXLES).
  • The core must be rebuildable (most are) and have all the parts.
  • Cores should be returned within 30 days for full refund.

Shipping   shipping and handling varies by zip code (see in cart). The customer is responsible for all shipping costs, including core return

  • We can also provide a return shipping label for returning your cores (this will increase your cost by the same dollar amount as shipping to you).
    • Please request this in the comments on your order or by email.
    • We will charge your card the additional amount.
    • The shipper will email you the label or link.
    • Make sure your cores are the same original Toyota/Lexus axles.
  • Warranty – When used for off road or in lifted/modified trucks, there is no warranty.

GENERAL BOOT INFORMATION  – TO HELP YOU CHOOSE

  • ALL BOOTS – running at higher angles will decrease the life of any boot (as well as the axle’s internal components).
  • Outer = wheel side
  • Inner = differential side
  • Lift = total combined lift from lift kits, shocks, spacers, adjustments, etc.

Original Toyota/Lexus Boots     Closest to Original Toyota/Lexus – BEST

Higher Angle Red Silicone INNER Boots                    MODERATE LIFT – BEST

  • 9534TR features OEM Toyota Hytrel plastic outer boot (longest lasting)
  • Red SI Inner Boot is a proven custom solution for moderately lifted vehicles.
  • This boot is installed on the INNER joint (differential side).
  • This boot must be CHECKED and may need to be ADJUSTED (extra clamps are provided) after installation to work for your specific truck setup. Each lifted truck is unique and custom. All axles with Red Si Boots come pre-adjusted for the majority of trucks. However, the Red Si Boot still needs to be checked and may need to be adjusted for your custom setup. See instructions below.
  • For lifted vehicles, the Red Si Boot will last longer than neoprene.
  • The Red Si Boot will help if your axles are running at higher angles (lifts, raised shocks, leveling kits, etc.) and your old inner boots are:
    • at moderately higher angles
    • are rubbing on themselves
    • have longer travel
  • This custom inner boot design has more convolutions (ribs) so it handles higher angles better.
  • The silicone material is better in extreme temperatures.
  • The Red SI Boots are NOT designed for extreme axle angles (lifts over 3.5”)
  • The Red Si Boots are clamped along the axle shaft and not in the original position.

No warranty on these boots.

  • CHECKING AND ADJUSTING THE RED Si BOOT:  Start with your truck on level ground, with the wheels on, and at normal ride height. Axles with Red Si Boots come pre-adjusted for the majority of trucks. However, the Red Si Boot still needs to be checked and may need to be adjusted for your custom setup.
    • CHECK for:
      • Adequate clearance between the boot and all suspension/frame parts (1/2”).
      • No boot ribs (convolutions) rubbing on themselves. Need 1/8” to 1/4” of clearance between the closest ribs. Roll the truck tires 1/4 turn and check again – repeat x3.
    • ADJUST the boot,
      • Remove the small clamp and slide the boot so the ribs don’t touch.
      • You need 1/8” to 1/4” of clearance between the closest ribs.
      • Do not stretch the boot too far! The boot will tear in tension if stretched too far.
      • Re-clamp the boot with the extra clamps provided.

No warranty on these boots.

  • There are a few products that can help condition boots to help them last longer (especially neoprene). These products can be sprayed on boots periodically:
    • 303 UV Protectant Spray
    • Mclube Sailkote Spray
    • Silicone spray (CRC, Berryman, etc.)
